Using Mac OSX

Follow the steps below to re-enter your username and password on your Mac OS X computer when using a Thomson SpeedTouch 330 or Sagem F@st 800 modem.

Before you start

Before you re-enter your username and password, please ensure that:

Follow the instructions below to change the username and password on your SpeedTouch 330 modem. For instructions on how to do this on the Sagem F@st 800, see: Sagem F@st 800.

1. Click the modem icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

2. Select Disconnect.

3. Click the modem icon again and select Open Internet Connect....

4. Select SpeedTouch USB.

5. Enter your TalkTalk username into the User name box and enter your password into the Password box. You can find these details in your welcome letter. If you don't have your welcome letter, please call 0870 0875 562 to retrieve your details. You must call this number from your TalkTalk landline. If you call from another number you will be unable to retrieve your details. This call is free of charge.

6. Enter 0,38 in the Telephone Number box.

7. Click Connect at the bottom of the screen.

8. Open a web browser such as Safari, Internet Explorer or Firefox. In the Address bar, type www.talktalk.co.uk and then press Enter on your keyboard.

That's it - you're connected to the internet. Enjoy using your TalkTalk broadband.

Sagem F@st800

Follow the instructions below to change the username and password on your Sagem F@st800 modem.

1. Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner of the screen and select System Preferences....

2. Click Network.

3. Select Ethernet Adapter (En1) from the Show drop-down list.

4. Select the PPPoE tab and tick the box labelled Show PPPoE status in menu bar. Then click Apply Now.

5. Without closing the Network window, click the PPPoE status icon in the top right-hand corner and select Disconnect.

6. Go back to the Network window. Enter your TalkTalk username in the Account Name box and enter your password into the Password box. You can find these details in your welcome letter. Alternatively, you can call our free, automated service any time of the day or night on 0870 0875 562 for your details. Please have a pen and paper to hand. You must call this number from your TalkTalk landline.

7. Enter 0,38 in the Telephone Number box.

8. Click Apply Now to save the changes.

9. To re-connect to the internet, click the PPPoE status icon in the top right-hand corner and select Connect.

10. Open a web browser such as Safari, Internet Explorer or Firefox. In the Address bar, type www.talktalk.co.uk and press Enter on your keyboard.
